Microwave Ovens

Once limited in options, microwave ovens are now easily incorporated into any kitchen design. With choices in size, power, style, and pre-programmed cooking times there is sure to be a microwave that fits well with your kitchen.

  • Full-size counter-top models take up more counter space but can hold up to 2 cubic feet inside. Usually have around 1,000 watts of power.

  • Compact models are available, but are usually less powerful (around 700 watts) and won't cook as quickly. Normally don’t have as many of the preprogrammed cycles as full-size models.

  • Microwave/Convection ovens let you cook in microwave mode only, convection mode only, or both at once. Using microwave and convection at the same time browns and crisps foods in ways that microwaves alone cannot.

  • Over-the-range models are full-size microwave ovens that are installed over the range and include the vent for the range. They free space on the countertop and conveniently put the microwave at eye level.
